Announcements:


Exam 5 will be on Thursday, Dec. 3 covering chapters 11 - 12. Material from chapter 13 *may* also be covered before Exam 5.

There will be an optional review session from 5-~7pm in CP 123 (Chemistry Building) on Tuesday, Dec. 1. We will also use the Wednesday class period (Dec. 2) as time for review; please be prepared to ask questions.
Material relevant to this exam can be found on practice exams 5 and 6 below.
Exam 4 was on Thursday, Nov. 12 covering chapters 8 - 10 (from Section 8.4 to the end of our coverage in Chapter 10)

There will be an optional review session from 5-~7pm in CP 123 (Chemistry Building) on Tuesday, Nov. 10. We will also use part of the Tuesday class period as time for review; please be prepared to ask questions. (No class Wed. 11/11)
Exam 3 was on Thursday, Oct. 22 covering chapters 5 through 8 (from Section 5.4 to 8.3)

Practice exams note: Exam 3 will cover material from section 5.4 to 8.3. Practice exam problems related to that material can be found on Practice Exam 2 (#2), Practice Exam 3 (all), and Practice Exam 4 (#1,2,4,7).
Exam 2 was on Thursday, Oct. 1 covering chapters 4 and 5 (through section 5.3.)

Exam 1 was on Thursday, Sept. 17. Exams may be picked up outside my office if you didn't get them in lecture. If you didn't sign your exam, you will need to see me directly to pick up your exam.

Physics tutoring is available again this semester through Study Jam. This large-group learning environment serving several large-enrollment courses typically runs weekday evenings (Mon, Wed for physics) from 6:30-9:00pm in the UC Commons (2nd floor).

Independent tutors may also be available; watch for flyers posted in CHCB.
