Current research at the Blue Mountain Observatory utilizes CCD photometry to examine possible short-period, variable, red giant stars. Past faculty and student projects have included UBV photometry of long-period variable stars, UBV photometry of OB associations, and the investigation of apsidal motion in eclipsing binary stars.
